I’ve gotta long post of photos today – I had a hard time narrowing down my absolute faves! My bride, Kate, had so many wonderful vintage DIY details – I just had to share this pretty wedding for everyone to see. When I first met Kate to chat about the wedding she told me that she literally met Joel in “the middle of nowhere.” 3 years later they found themselves ring shopping. 🙂 Because of Joel’s crazy work schedule, he decided to pop the question before heading to work – like 5AM. And he slipped that shiny blingy ring on sleepy-eyed Kate’s finger, and she said YES! What a way to wake up!! So here we are shooting their wedding in the middle of nowhere… no really, it was just over in Edwardsville, IL (where Ryan is from!) and we loved absolutely every minute of it!
The happy couple had their “first look” on SIUE’s beautiful campus and trail grounds! I love first looks! I feel like it allows us more time to capture beautiful images before the ceremony & reception, which were both held at Crystal Gardens. So I’ll stop now and let the photos do the talkin’!
